Video: Georgia woman writes 1,500 thank you notes a year

Watch this WALB10 video clip about how Polly Huff of Tifton, GA writes up to 1,500 thank you notes a year, some 30 per week. It may sound a bit obsessive, but after anyone does anything nice for her or her family, Huff picks up the pen and starts writing. I don’t think it’s possible (or necessarily healthy) for anyone of us to follow in Huff’s shoes, but it definitely brings up the question: Are there that many things to be thankful for in any given year?

I think the answer is yes. Huff is one extreme example, but I bet if we all sat down on a lazy Sunday afternoon to tally up all the nice things done for us in the past week, we’d all easily reach 30 acts. Let’s try it. Let me know if you reach that number.
