"In Central Park today I lost my left hand glove and thought that for sure I was going to have an O.J. moment. I mean, these were my favorite gloves. I had been chomping on a bag of freshly roasted peanuts and holding my glove at the same time. In that 15 minutes that I had the glove off I must have covered a good mile of muddy Central Park footpaths. Basically, I was at a complete loss -- I had no idea where I had dropped that damn glove. And even if I did find it, it was probably trampled to death and muddied beyond all recognition.

Unbelievably, somewhere near the "Pinetum" playground area, I found it, and it was complete dry and clean. Someone had kindly set the glove on one of those steel footings for The Gates, away from the muddy pathway. Unreal.

Whoever did that, you rock! Thanks so much."
